THE STORY

From football and netball to canoe sprint, archery and volleyball: a selection of competition, concentration and the moments in between.

These photographs span NYP Inter-School Games, Pesta Sukan Canoe Sprint and POL-ITE archery and volleyball in 2025. Different sports bring different rhythms: the reach for a ball, a line of paddles, the stillness before a shot.

The collection moves between action and the wider setting, leaving room for teammates, spectators and the pause between rounds.
